By downloading or using Miscut (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What the app does

The app helps you measure trading-card centering and estimate condition and grade outcomes. All measurements, grade predictions, and value estimates are informational estimates only.

2. No guarantee of grading results

Predicted grades, sub-grades, centering tolerances and estimated values are generated from your photos and inputs using approximations of publicly described grading standards. They are not a guarantee of any result from any grading company, and actual graded values and sale prices vary with the market. Do not rely on the app as the sole basis for buying, selling, or submitting cards for grading.

3. No affiliation

Miscut is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by PSA, Beckett (BGS), SGC, CGC, TAG, ACE, or any other company. Company names, logos and grade scales are referenced for descriptive, comparative purposes only and remain the property and trademarks of their respective owners.

4. On-device processing and marketplace features

Measuring, card identification and condition checks run on your device, and your photos and saved scans are stored there. Photos and listing details leave your device only when you start an action that needs them: publishing a listing to eBay under your own eBay account, building a Whatnot Show Pack (your selected photos are uploaded to an image host we operate so Whatnot can link to them), or fetching a market price or exchange rate. You are responsible for the listings you publish and for complying with eBay’s and Whatnot’s terms. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent where.

5. Purchases and subscription

Pro Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription (billed monthly) that unlocks the Pro features: per-company grade predictions, the surface/edge/corner inspection tools, and Pro scan stats. Measuring centering, the quality rating and saving scans are free.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial, if one is offered).
• The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price shown at purchase.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your device Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or App Store → account → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase the subscription.
• If you previously bought the retired lifetime unlock, it keeps Pro unlocked forever — nothing to renew.
• Optional tips are consumable In-App Purchases that unlock no functionality.
• “Restore Purchases” is available in the app to restore Pro on your other devices. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms; refunds are handled by Apple.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to disrupt its services, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that measurements or predictions are accurate or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial loss arising from grading submissions, purchases, or sales made in reliance on the app.

9. Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
